Plumber at Wellspring College – Lagos
Wellspring College is recruiting a full-time Plumber in Lagos to maintain dependable water supply, drainage and sanitation services across its school facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect, install, maintain and repair plumbing installations, fixtures and pipework.
- Carry out routine preventive checks and respond promptly to urgent plumbing faults.
- Maintain functioning toilets, bathrooms, hostels, kitchens and laboratory plumbing systems.
- Monitor water distribution and drainage, comply with safety procedures and maintain maintenance records.
- Manage plumbing tools and materials and coordinate work with other facilities staff.
Requirements
- Trade Test, Technical Certificate or equivalent plumbing qualification; further vocational certification is an advantage.
- At least five years’ practical plumbing experience, preferably in a school, hotel, hospital or other large facility.
- Ability to diagnose faults, read simple plumbing drawings and understand water distribution systems.
- Good teamwork, communication, time management, reporting and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, proactive and physically able to carry out maintenance duties.
