Sewatech Nigeria Limited is recruiting a Procurement Officer in Lekki, Lagos to manage supplier sourcing, purchasing, vendor negotiations, import documentation and procurement compliance.
Responsibilities
- Procurement Officer to manage end-to-end sourcing, vendor management, purchase order processing, and regulatory compliance to acquire goods and services at the best value.
- Supplier Sourcing & Management: Identify, vet, and maintain relationships with local vendors, market conditions.
- Cost Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms to drive cost-savings without sacrificing quality.
- Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure all purchases adhere to company policies, the Public Procurement Act, and Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) guidelines (for public or NGO sectors).
- Import & Logistics Documentation: Handle import paperwork.
- Inventory & Audit Coordination: Coordinate with warehouse and finance teams to reconcile stock levels, verify invoices, and maintain records for internal and external audits.
