Project / Design Architect at Khadasha Innovations Africa – Lekki Phase 1
Khadasha Innovations Africa is recruiting a Project / Design Architect for Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. The role requires independent ownership of architectural projects from initial concepts through construction documentation and site execution.
Key responsibilities
- Develop practical architectural concepts, design proposals, 3D models, visualisations and client presentations.
- Lead and participate in client meetings, communicate design intent and incorporate feedback.
- Prepare detailed working drawings, design documents, construction information and project records.
- Keep project files organised and accessible through consistent document-management procedures.
- Coordinate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing consultants.
- Conduct site inspections to compare construction work with approved drawings and quality requirements.
- Prepare project progress reports and updates using standard office tools.
- Maintain delivery standards and project timelines with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Architecture is mandatory.
- At least two years of active professional experience in an architectural firm.
- Practical knowledge of site operations, construction work and construction methods.
- Expert-level Revit proficiency and strong working skills in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and project tracking.
- Ability to take responsibility for active projects, meet deadlines and work systematically with little foundational training.
Working arrangements
The normal schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The usual pattern is four days at the Lekki Phase 1 office and one day on-site, although project needs may require up to five days on-site. Occasional extended hours or weekend attendance may be needed for critical deadlines. Punctuality is essential.
Salary and benefits
Base salary is ₦350,000 per month. Additional performance-related compensation may include project completion bonuses, client acquisition incentives and annual performance bonuses. The position offers 15 days of paid annual leave and a three-month probationary period.
