Research Assistant – Management & Innovation Cluster at Pan-Atlantic University (PAU) – Lagos
Pan-Atlantic University seeks a full-time Research Assistant in Lagos to support its Management and Innovation Cluster in entrepreneurship, leadership, organisational development, education, talent and consumer research.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct literature reviews and desk research using relevant academic, industry and policy materials.
- Collect, clean and analyse quantitative and qualitative research data, including surveys, interviews and focus groups.
- Support the analysis and interpretation of findings using appropriate research methods.
- Monitor trends in management, innovation, the workforce, education and consumer behaviour.
- Prepare and edit research papers, case studies, reports, presentations, manuscripts and conference materials.
- Help develop grant proposals and project documents and identify research competitions, funding and conference opportunities.
- Manage research databases, literature resources and project records, tracking deliverables and publications.
- Assist with seminars, workshops, executive sessions and engagement with external stakeholders.
Qualifications and requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Management, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Organisational Behaviour, Marketing, Education, Talent Development or a related field is desirable.
- Knowledge of research methods, academic writing, referencing and research ethics is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, written and oral communication skills.
- Good Microsoft Excel and Word skills; familiarity with research software or survey tools is an advantage.
- Ability to synthesise research, meet deadlines, handle several assignments and collaborate with academics.
