Manager, Alumni Office at Pan-Atlantic University (PAU) – Lagos

Pan-Atlantic University is hiring a full-time Manager, Alumni Office in Lagos to strengthen lifelong relationships with alumni through programmes, events, communications and volunteer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Convert alumni engagement priorities into annual programmes, activities and achievable targets.
• Develop alumni chapters, events, volunteer opportunities, mentorship and other relationship-building initiatives.
• Improve alumni participation and communication across digital and other channels.
• Coordinate with university departments and outside stakeholders to deliver programmes.
• Supervise alumni office staff and oversee budgets, resources and operational performance.
• Maintain alumni information, track engagement measures and report programme outcomes and alumni feedback.
• Support partnership, sponsorship and fundraising initiatives that advance the University’s objectives.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Education, Social Sciences or a related discipline.
• A master’s degree or relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
• At least seven years of relevant professional experience, including three years in management, supervision or leadership.
• Experience in alumni relations, stakeholder engagement, institutional projects, community engagement, fundraising or partnerships.
• Ability to manage staff, programmes, budgets and cross-functional activities; resource mobilisation experience is highly desirable.
• Experience within education, non-profits, professional associations or similar stakeholder-focused organisations is advantageous.
• Knowledge of grants management and donor compliance, with strong proposal writing, reporting, analytical, communication and coordination skills.
• Integrity, attention to detail, sound stakeholder management and ability to work independently under pressure.
