Senior Internal Control Manager via Robert Walters – Lagos

An FMCG and manufacturing group is recruiting a Senior Internal Control Manager in Lagos through Robert Walters to strengthen risk management, compliance and organisational controls.

Internal control and risk oversight

• Support the Head of Internal Control in developing and improving business control frameworks.
• Assess the effectiveness of financial, operating and governance controls against established policies.
• Conduct operational, financial, compliance and strategic risk assessments.
• Collaborate with business leaders on remediation plans and measurable risk mitigations.
• Promote a culture of compliance, accountability and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least five years in internal control, internal audit, risk management, compliance or governance.
• Experience supporting complex operations in a large FMCG or manufacturing business.
• Practical understanding of internal control frameworks, corporate governance and risk management.
• ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, CRMA or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.
