Accountant at Power Ark Infrastructure Limited – Lagos

Power Ark Infrastructure Limited is hiring an Accountant in Lagos to oversee financial records, statutory compliance, project cost accounting and financial controls for its solar-energy business.

Accounting responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping, general ledger entries and accurate accounting records.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management accounts and cash-flow reports.
• Complete bank reconciliations, payables and receivables management and processing of invoices and payments.
• Reconcile inventory and equipment stock values, monitor project expenditure, budgets and profitability.
• Maintain internal controls, audit documentation and compliance with tax and statutory obligations.
• Liaise with auditors, regulators, banks and consultants and provide financial analysis to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is mandatory.
• At least three years of in-house accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, taxation, reconciliations, inventory accounting, budgeting and cost control.
• Advanced Excel and accounting-software capability, independent judgement, analytical accuracy and professional integrity.

Salary

• ₦300,000–₦350,000 per month.
