Senior Sales Manager at GE Vernova – Remote

GE Vernova is hiring a remote, full-time Senior Sales Manager (Job ID R5055711) to lead commercial growth for its Gas Power portfolio across Nigeria, Ghana and selected Sub-Saharan African markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional sales strategy for heavy-duty and aeroderivative gas turbine solutions, including OCGT and CCGT power projects.
• Manage the full commercial lifecycle from prospecting and solution design through negotiation, contracting and financial close.
• Coordinate engineering, commercial, finance, legal and product teams to develop viable bids and customer proposals.
• Build relationships with utilities, independent power producers, EPC firms, investors, government agencies and regulators.
• Assess commercial, financing, regulatory and macroeconomic risks to support profitable growth.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; MBA desirable.
• At least 12 years’ power-generation or utility infrastructure sales experience, including eight or more years in senior commercial leadership.
• Expert knowledge of gas turbines, OCGT/CCGT applications, project financing and technical-commercial negotiations.
• Record of closing major power equipment and service agreements and leading global cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel 50–60% across the region.
