Senior Software Engineer at NimbleByte Global – Remote

NimbleByte Global is recruiting a remote Senior Software Engineer for highly technical backend engineering consultancy and client-facing discussions. The role requires extensive production engineering experience and confident technical communication.

Responsibilities

• We’re looking for a Senior Technical Consultant — a highly experienced software engineering professional with excellent communication skills, strong technical judgment, and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

Requirements

• Advanced English (C1+) with confident spoken communication for U.S. based client interviews and technical discussions.
• 9+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering, with strong hands on experience building and maintaining production systems.
• Proven experience working professionally with at least 2 to 3 backend programming languages or frameworks, including Java/Spring, C#/.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js, Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, or comparable backend technologies.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, API development, databases, system design, integrations, and scalable application development.
• Ability to explain technical decisions clearly and demonstrate strong understanding of the technologies they have worked with.
• Experience working across different technology stacks, development environments, and software architectures.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms, DevOps, CI/CD, containers, version control, and deployment processes is an advantage.
• Proven ability to participate confidently in technical interviews, client discussions, solution reviews, or engineering assessments.
• Strong real world delivery experience, with the ability to understand technical requirements, solve complex backend problems, and connect engineering decisions to business needs.
