Stock Officer at Smart Partners Consulting Limited – Uyo, Akwa Ibom
Smart Partners Consulting Limited is hiring a full-time Stock Officer in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, to oversee the movement, storage and accurate recording of materials used in production and quick-service restaurant outlets.
Responsibilities
- Monitor stock balances and document materials received, issued, transferred and remaining.
- Verify deliveries against purchase records and inspect quantities, quality, expiry dates and damage.
- Organise stock, apply FIFO or FEFO rotation as appropriate and conduct physical counts.
- Manage authorisations for stock issuance and transfers between warehouses, production and outlets.
- Track replenishment needs, slow-moving goods and potential stockouts.
- Investigate stock variances, wastage and unauthorised movements and recommend improvements.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports and support stock reconciliation.
Requirements
- HND or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- One to three years’ relevant inventory or stock-control experience.
- FMCG, food-production, hospitality or quick-service restaurant experience is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel, inventory systems and stock reconciliation.
- Strong numeracy, accuracy, integrity, organisation and reporting skills.
