System Administrator Vacancy at a Rising Information Technology Company – Alister Greene Limited

Position Title: System Administrator.

Job Station: Lagos State.

INTRODUCTION:-

System Administrator job opportunity is available at Alister Greene Limited for individuals who possess bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar field.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-

  • Assist IT Managers to determine the company’s systems needs
  • Install and configure software, hardware and networks
  • Maintain on premise and off-site backups
  • Monitor and optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Ensure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
  • Set up accounts and workstations
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models
  • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:-

Academic / Professional:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar field.
  • Professional certifications are a plus
  • Work experience: 2 years.

Skills and Competence:

  • Proven experience as a System Administratoror similar role
  • In depth Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
  • Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language
  • Good project management skills.
  • Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

REMUNERATION:-

N80,000 – N100,000 per month.
