Position Title: System Administrator.
Job Station: Lagos State.
INTRODUCTION:-
System Administrator job opportunity is available at Alister Greene Limited for individuals who possess bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar field.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-
- Assist IT Managers to determine the company’s systems needs
- Install and configure software, hardware and networks
- Maintain on premise and off-site backups
- Monitor and optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Ensure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
- Set up accounts and workstations
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:-
Academic / Professional:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar field.
- Professional certifications are a plus
- Work experience: 2 years.
Skills and Competence:
- Proven experience as a System Administratoror similar role
- In depth Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language
- Good project management skills.
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
REMUNERATION:-
N80,000 – N100,000 per month.
