Technical / Technician Assistant at Direkci Group – Abuja
Direkci Group is recruiting a Technical / Technician Assistant in Abuja to maintain its office, company apartments and associated facilities and resolve electrical, plumbing and general building repairs.
Responsibilities
- Inspect premises regularly and identify emerging building maintenance needs.
- Repair lighting, switches, sockets and other basic electrical installations.
- Attend to plumbing faults, leaks, taps, toilets and drainage problems.
- Service and troubleshoot air-conditioning units, fans and other equipment.
- Repair doors, windows, locks, ceilings and furniture fittings as needed.
- Monitor generators, water pumps and other facility equipment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and attend to reported technical faults.
- Coordinate outside contractors for repairs requiring specialist support.
- Keep repair histories, materials records and lists of outstanding problems.
- Monitor tools and supplies, observe safe work procedures and carry out related assigned duties.
Requirements
- Five to seven years’ experience in building, facilities or technical maintenance.
