In-site Project Engineer at an Undisclosed Company via Sisa Method Limited – Abuja
An undisclosed company is recruiting a full-time In-site Project Engineer through Sisa Method Limited for the Ajaokuta Mini Project. The Abuja-based role involves technical coordination and field engineering at the project site in Kogi State.
Responsibilities
- Maintain approved-for-construction drawings, specifications and vendor documentation.
- Check constructability, site access, lifting, utilities, earthing and fire-protection provisions.
- Raise and track technical queries, field change requests and red-line drawings.
- Verify foundations, anchor bolts, levels and installation tolerances against vendor drawings.
- Prepare work packs, method statements and inspection and test plans.
- Support receipt inspections, equipment preservation and damage or shortage records.
- Coordinate mechanical-completion walkdowns, test packs, punch lists and turnover dossiers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical or Instrumentation Engineering.
- At least five years’ site or construction engineering experience in oil and gas, process plants or industrial projects.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, general arrangements, technical datasheets and vendor documents.
- Experience with equipment installation and inspection/testing procedures.
- COREN registration or eligibility is preferred; safety-conscious site practice is important.

About the hiring company
The hiring organisation is developing the Ajaokuta Mini Project in Kogi State, a planned 7 MMscfd mini facility. Site works are under way and equipment manufactured in China is in sea transit.
