Tower Crane Operator at Business Contracting Limited – Lagos
Business Contracting Limited is recruiting a full-time Tower Crane Operator in Lagos to handle lifting operations safely on construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate tower cranes to lift, move and place construction materials within approved load limits.
- Inspect crane equipment daily and report technical faults or maintenance needs promptly.
- Work with riggers, signallers, banksmen and site supervisors to coordinate lifting safely.
- Follow lifting procedures, equipment rules and site safety requirements, and maintain operational records.
Requirements
- A relevant technical qualification (such as a Trade Test Certificate) or formal crane-operation training, together with an appropriate operating certificate or licence.
- Three to five years’ tower-crane operating experience, preferably in construction.
- Knowledge of lifting signals, safe load limits, lifting procedures and relevant safety regulations.
- Physical fitness, sound judgement and strong safety awareness.
