Training Manager at SANY Nigeria – Lagos

SANY Nigeria is seeking a Training Manager in Lagos to plan and deliver technical learning programmes for engineers, service technicians and graduate trainees working with heavy machinery and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assess technical skill gaps and design training plans for engineers and service personnel.
• Deliver classroom sessions and practical demonstrations covering machinery operation, maintenance, diagnostics, servicing and repair.
• Develop technical manuals, presentations, guidance, exercises and competency assessments.
• Evaluate trainee progress and maintain training records, attendance and performance reports.
• Keep programmes aligned with equipment technologies and manufacturer recommendations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, After-Sales, Service, HR and Operations colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, HND or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automotive or Heavy Equipment Engineering, or a related field.
• Three to five years’ relevant experience in heavy machinery, equipment servicing or engineering.
• Experience training technicians, engineers, service staff or graduate trainees.
• Practical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance, diagnostics and repair across relevant machinery types.
• Strong instructional, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills and willingness to visit sites or training centres.
• Chinese-language ability is an added advantage.
