Accountant at Technocrime Security Limited – Lagos
Technocrime Security Limited is hiring a full-time Accountant in Lagos to manage accounting records, reporting, tax compliance and financial controls.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Maintain the general ledger, record transactions and reconcile bank, balance-sheet and other financial accounts.
- Manage petty cash and expense records, and support payroll activities.
- Prepare tax computations, VAT returns and statutory filings within required timelines.
- Support internal and external audits with schedules, records and responses to queries.
- Monitor regulatory and reporting compliance and strengthen controls that protect company assets.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related subject.
- Five to seven years of relevant accounting experience.
- ICAN or another professional accounting qualification is an advantage.
- Experience supporting audits, internal controls and risk-management processes.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
- Accuracy, strong organisational and communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines independently.
