Assistant IT Manager at ECOM Agroindustrial Corp Limited – Lagos

ECOM Agroindustrial Corp Limited is recruiting an Assistant IT Manager in Lagos to support technology operations, secure infrastructure, business applications, service delivery and regional projects.

IT operations and infrastructure

• Apply group IT policies, standards and security procedures.
• Install, configure, audit and maintain computer hardware, software, business applications and databases.
• Manage servers, backups, disaster recovery, business continuity, networking equipment, firewalls, Wi-Fi and telephony.
• Monitor system availability and performance and guide business users.

Service management and projects

• Oversee service-desk tickets, escalations and SLA compliance, and guide the IT support team.
• Investigate recurring incidents, maintain support documentation and deliver user training.
• Support infrastructure and business-application projects, user acceptance testing and change management.
• Coordinate vendors, global IT teams, budgets, procurement, software licences and asset inventories.
• Support security reviews, audits, remediation, reporting and technology governance.

Requirements

• HND or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
• Five to eight years’ progressive IT experience, including at least two years in senior support or supervision.
• Hands-on skills in VLANs, routing, subnetting, firewalls, enterprise switches, Active Directory, servers and Microsoft 365.
• Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, ITIL Foundation or similar certification is strongly preferred.
