Business Support Engineer at Cecure Intelligence Limited – Lagos
Cecure Intelligence Limited is recruiting a Business Support Engineer in Lagos to manage Level 2 technical escalations, support cloud and security operations and strengthen client-service reliability.
Technical support and incident management
- Resolve complex cloud infrastructure, application and security escalations.
- Investigate recurring incidents and carry out root-cause analysis to implement lasting fixes.
- Support vulnerability scanning, firewall configuration and application-log analysis as required.
- Maintain accurate incident records and work to agreed service timelines.
Service design and assurance
- Work with Engineering and Technical Presales teams on service support models for new deployments.
- Monitor service performance against SLAs and operational-level agreements and carry out routine health checks.
- Identify service gaps and contribute to improvement plans.
- Develop runbooks, service handbooks and standard operating procedures, and support knowledge sharing with junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and completion of NYSC.
- One to three years of experience in technical support, cloud operations, systems engineering or related work.
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with security operations, SOC or managed detection and response.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation, technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Experience preparing technical documentation, handbooks, runbooks and procedures.
- Understanding of IT service management, service design and assurance, with ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical, communication and customer-service skills.
