Carpenter at Eko Maintenance Limited – Victoria Island, Lagos
Eko Maintenance Limited is recruiting a skilled Carpenter in Victoria Island, Lagos, to manufacture, install and maintain woodwork, fittings and structural components for building projects.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble doors, cabinets, wardrobes, furniture and other wood components.
- Read drawings, measure accurately and cut, shape and finish materials to specification.
- Install cabinetry, doors, window components, floor and wall frames, partitions and fitted woodwork on site.
- Repair and maintain doors, handles, locks, cylinders and related fittings.
- Supervise junior carpenters and coordinate with design and construction teams.
- Inspect completed work, remedy installation defects and protect finish quality.
- Operate woodworking tools and machinery safely and comply with health, safety and environmental procedures.
- Support scheduled maintenance and alterations to existing wooden structures.
Qualifications and skills
- Three to seven years of practical carpentry experience covering fabrication and installation.
- WAEC, SSCE, NABTEB or a recognised carpentry trade-test qualification, with a portfolio of previous work.
- Competence using hand and power tools, woodworking machinery and technical drawings.
- Ability to lead installations, solve fitting issues and work safely on site.
- Sound knowledge of materials, construction methods, relevant building standards and team communication.
Benefits
Salary of ₦200,000–₦250,000 per month, HMO cover, pension, overtime and annual leave or leave allowance.
