Chartered Accountant at Paragon Corporate Enterprises – Port Harcourt

Paragon Corporate Enterprises is recruiting a full-time Chartered Accountant in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, to oversee cash operations, banking relationships, liquidity and management reporting.

Cash and treasury management

• Manage day-to-day cash availability, account balances, inflows and outflows across banks.
• Optimise liquidity, review funding needs and recommend appropriate debt arrangements or use of surplus cash.
• Perform daily and monthly bank and cash-book reconciliations, payment control and bank account maintenance.
• Prepare cash-flow statements and short- and long-term forecasts using sales, budgets, procurement and capital plans.
• Work with banks, external auditors, tax officials and other finance stakeholders.

Reporting and controls

• Monitor budget performance, analyse variances and inform executive planning.
• Oversee cash-management processes, finance systems, approved payments and compliance.
• Support statutory deductions and remittances, transaction documentation and reconciliations of payables and receivables.
• Prepare reliable daily balances, periodic reconciliations and clear transaction records.
• Complete related finance duties assigned by the MD/CEO.

Qualifications

• BSc in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with ACA, ACCA or ICAN professional certification.
• At least five years in treasury, cash management or a related finance role.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and accounting ERP experience.
• Strong financial analysis, communication, initiative and stakeholder-management skills.

Salary

• ₦500,000–₦800,000 monthly.
