Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Smart Partners Consulting Limited – Lagos
Smart Partners Consulting Limited is recruiting a full-time Chief Investment Officer in Lagos to direct investment strategy, portfolio decisions and investment-risk governance.
Strategic investment leadership
- Develop investment policies, objectives, frameworks and risk parameters, and oversee asset allocation and portfolio construction.
- Lead investment research, financial modelling, market analysis and investment due diligence.
- Monitor returns, benchmarks, financial markets and risk to ensure alignment with client investment mandates.
- Present investment recommendations, forecasts and performance reports to executive management and the Board.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and cultivate investor, fund-manager and financial-institution relationships.
- Mentor and manage the investment team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
- At least ten years’ investment, asset or portfolio-management experience, with five years in senior investment leadership.
- Sound knowledge of investment instruments, portfolio risk, market strategy and investment research.
- A master’s degree or MBA is an advantage; CFA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent professional qualifications are highly desirable.
- Strong financial analysis, strategic leadership, judgement, communication and ethical standards.
