Coal Mine Operations Officer at Recore Limited – Enugu and Kogi
Recore Limited is recruiting two Coal Mine Operations Officers for work across Enugu and Kogi. The role coordinates coal evacuation at mine sites, ensuring that loading, transport deployment, payload controls and dispatch records are managed efficiently and safely.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate daily coal loading, truck deployment and dispatch with the mine and logistics teams.
- Monitor vehicle payloads, weighbridge activity, waybills and related dispatch records.
- Track truck movements, tonnage, journey turnaround times and operational delays.
- Enforce mine-site safety procedures and vehicle loading limits.
- Monitor coal quality and promptly escalate operational concerns.
- Prepare accurate daily reports and liaise with relevant stakeholders to support evacuation targets.
Qualifications and requirements
- OND, NCE or an equivalent qualification.
- Practical knowledge of truck loading, payload checks, weighbridge work and dispatch documentation.
- Basic Microsoft Excel and operational reporting skills.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work at mine sites, including shifts or weekends when necessary.
