Production Engineer – Quarry Operations at EMR Mining – Ibadan, Oyo
EMR Mining is seeking a Production Engineer in Ibadan, Oyo State, to oversee quarry crushing and processing, improve plant efficiency and maintain safety and product-quality standards.
Reports to: Operations Manager / Quarry Manager
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily crushing, screening, and material handling operations.
- Monitor production output, plant efficiency, and equipment performance.
- Identify process improvements to reduce downtime, waste, and operational costs.
- Coordinate with mining, maintenance, and quality control teams.
- Ensure product quality, HSE compliance, and accurate production reporting.
- Supervise production personnel and support staff development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mining, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years’ relevant experience in quarry operations, crushing plants, or mineral processing.
- Strong knowledge of production optimization, equipment performance, and HSE standards.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
