Credit Officer at Leap MicroFinance Institution – Abuja (FCT)
Leap Microfinance Institution is recruiting a full-time Credit Officer in Abuja to evaluate lending requests, manage credit risk and support sound loan administration.
Responsibilities
- Review loan applications and assess prospective borrowers’ creditworthiness.
- Carry out client verification and credit risk assessments.
- Examine financial records and supporting documents.
- Monitor loan disbursements and repayment activity.
- Prepare credit reports and keep loan documentation accurate and up to date.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Experience in credit administration, loan processing or microfinance banking is an advantage.
- Analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of credit assessment and loan management.
- Microsoft Office and Excel proficiency.
