Business Development Officer at Leap MicroFinance Institution – Federal Capital Territory and Nasarawa State
Leap MicroFinance Institution is recruiting two full-time Business Development Officers for Abuja (FCT) and Nasarawa. The role focuses on growing sales, winning new SME customers and restoring dormant client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Meet assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives.
- Identify and acquire clients for loan and investment products, including new SMEs and other prospects.
- Re-engage inactive individual and SME accounts and maintain strong ongoing customer relationships.
- Source loan business, address customer questions and objections and support loan-recovery activities.
- Keep sales and client records accurate and maintain high customer-service standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business targets and share customer feedback with Sales and Marketing management.
- Recommend product improvements based on customer needs and market response.
- Represent the institution professionally at trade fairs, seminars and conferences and promote its products and services.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor and report to the Principal Manager, Sales.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Three years of relevant experience.
