Electronic Technician at an Undisclosed E&P Company – Offshore Nigeria
An undisclosed oil exploration and production company is recruiting a full-time Electronic Technician for its offshore drilling operations in Nigeria. The technician will maintain rig electronics, instrumentation and control systems with a strong focus on safe operations.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, inspect and repair electronic, instrumentation and control equipment used on offshore drilling rigs.
- Support dependable operation of electrical and electronic systems in a demanding offshore environment.
- Follow established safety procedures and work effectively with a multicultural rig team.
Requirements and qualifications
- Technical diploma or an equivalent technical qualification, together with offshore electronics experience.
- Relevant offshore drilling experience and valid industry certifications appropriate to the position.
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and operational excellence.
- Ability to work under pressure in an offshore environment.
- Valid passport and willingness to travel.
