Email Forensics Specialist via TeamAce Limited – Magodo, Lagos State

An IT infrastructure organisation is recruiting a contract Email Forensics Specialist in Magodo, Lagos, through TeamAce Limited to investigate email-related security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Investigate phishing, spoofing, business email compromise and other email-security incidents.
• Analyse message headers, metadata, attachments, mail server logs and routing evidence.
• Collect and preserve digital evidence, documenting chain of custody and forensic procedures.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams on incident response and preventive controls.
• Prepare investigation reports, findings and actionable technical recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Digital Forensics or a related area.
• At least three years’ experience in digital forensics, cybersecurity, incident response or email investigations.
• Knowledge of SMTP, IMAP, POP3, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online and Google Workspace security.
• Proficiency with investigation tools such as FTK, EnCase, Autopsy, Wireshark or Microsoft Purview.
• CHFI, GCFA, GCFE, CEH or related certifications are an advantage.
