Environmental Engineer at African Industries Group – Ikorodu, Lagos
African Industries Group (AIG) is recruiting a full-time Environmental Engineer in Ikorodu, Lagos, to monitor and improve environmental performance at its manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Monitor factory pollution levels and environmental conditions.
- Recommend measures to reduce pollution, environmental impacts and related operating costs.
- Support compliance with government regulations and pollution-control rules.
- Prepare and maintain environmental and ISO management-system records.
- Plan and implement practical environmental improvements at the plant.
- Gather and analyse environmental data for reporting and management decisions.
Requirements
- HND or BSc in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field.
- Three to six years of relevant experience in environmental monitoring, compliance and pollution management.
- Industrial-sector experience is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Applicants living in Ikorodu or surrounding areas are preferred.
Salary
₦250,000–₦350,000 monthly.
