Hotel Kitchen Assistant at Hotel Capitol – Berger, Lagos

Hotel Capitol is recruiting a full-time Hotel Kitchen Assistant in Berger, Lagos. The role supports food preparation, kitchen cleanliness and safe meal service. Training is provided, and previous experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with washing, peeling, cutting and preparing ingredients.
• Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment and keep work areas clean.
• Observe kitchen hygiene and food safety procedures.
• Organise, arrange and store food ingredients and other supplies.
• Help prepare the kitchen for service and clean up afterwards.
• Dispose of kitchen waste properly.
• Follow instructions from chefs and supervisors to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

• SSCE is preferred but not compulsory; applicants with no previous kitchen experience may apply.
• Willingness to learn, accept guidance and work cooperatively.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and undertake routine kitchen work.
• Good personal hygiene, reliability, punctuality and attention to cleanliness.
• Ability to commute from around Ojodu Berger, Akute, Ogba or Ikeja.
