Field Credit Officer at Moniepoint Incorporated – Ekiti
Moniepoint Incorporated is recruiting an outsourced Field Credit Officer for Ekiti State. The officer will develop a performing business-loan portfolio, assess credit requests and monitor borrowers in the field.
Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard suitable businesses in the assigned area and support the use of Moniepoint business accounts.
- Assess borrowers and credit applications using financial data, business observations and the capacity, character and capital elements of credit analysis.
- Visit prospective customers’ business premises to review records, stock, turnover and repayment capacity.
- Review and approve or decline loan requests using the available assessment information.
- Monitor active credit facilities, repayment performance, customer account use and portfolio quality.
- Work towards loan portfolio growth and profitability targets while minimising defaults, and make recommendations to management.
Requirements
- Minimum of an OND in a business-related discipline.
- At least two years’ experience selling credit products in a financial institution.
- Demonstrable understanding of credit risk assessment; financial analysis knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong analytical judgement, attention to detail, communication and perseverance.
