Field Operator – Coiled Tubing at Baker Hughes – Port Harcourt, Rivers
Baker Hughes is recruiting a Field Operator – Coiled Tubing in Port Harcourt, Rivers State (Job ID R166232). The role supports safe well intervention and production enhancement activities through coiled tubing equipment operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain and troubleshoot coiled tubing equipment during wellsite activities.
- Support equipment preparation, rig-up, rig-down and routine shop and wellsite work.
- Work within permit-to-work procedures and support risk assessments before operations begin.
- Monitor equipment performance and follow approved quality, safety and environmental procedures.
- Prepare reports for onshore and offshore operations.
- Participate in client QHSE meetings and follow the company’s operational standards.
- Provide practical guidance to junior crew members as required.
Qualifications and experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least three years of experience as a Coiled Tubing Field Operator.
- Working knowledge of the oil and gas industry and good mechanical aptitude.
- Strong communication, organisation, analysis and problem-solving skills.
