Process Sales Engineer at Schlumberger – Onne, Rivers
Schlumberger Limited is recruiting a full-time Process Sales Engineer in Onne, Rivers State. The position develops market share and revenue with assigned accounts by connecting customer requirements to suitable process technologies and oil-and-gas services.
Responsibilities
- Develop sales approaches and communicate the company’s value proposition for each commercial opportunity.
- Identify and qualify leads, maintain a reliable opportunity pipeline and manage bids and proposals through sales-stage processes.
- Build customer relationships through planned calls, field visits and account follow-up.
- Set sales goals with management and support the introduction and promotion of products and services.
- Monitor competitors, pricing and market conditions, recommending adjustments where appropriate.
- Support marketing, business-line collaboration, receivables management and ongoing technical training.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Petroleum Engineering or a related field; additional sales or marketing credentials are an advantage.
- Ten to fifteen years’ combined operations and sales experience, including previous oil and gas sales work.
- Understanding of oil, produced-water, seawater and gas-treatment technologies for onshore facilities.
- Strong account management, stakeholder communication, opportunity management and commercial knowledge.
- Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
