Responsibilities
- Managing the financial reporting for Greatland Farms. This includes monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Managing and overseeing the cash flow of the company and ensuring it has the appropriate treasury controls
- Managing and overseeing the company’s banking and borrowing arrangements
- Providing sound financial support and insights to enable Executive Management make critical business decisions
- Develop, Maintain and review policy manual for the finance department
- Oversee, review, and adhere to the budgets for each business department
- Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting functions.
- Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationship.
- Process payroll and report PAYE taxes for the organization
- Risk Management to ensure the business has a solid risk framework in place
- Advising and implementing best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costs
- Advising on market changes and providing strategic financial recommendations to management.
Experience and qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess a Degree with 4 – 8 years work experience.
