An undisclosed creative/media/entertainment organisation is hiring a Finance Manager in Abuja, through Fadac Resources.
Role overview
Manage the financial operations of an organisation in the creative, media or entertainment sector, strengthening controls and financial decision-making while supporting commercial growth.
Key responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
- Manage cash flow, working capital and day-to-day financial operations.
- Build and monitor budgets for creative projects, campaigns and productions, including their costs, revenue and profitability.
- Ensure statutory and tax compliance, risk controls and sound financial governance.
- Provide analysis and financial advice for management decisions.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
- ICAN, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Three to five years of relevant finance experience.
- Prior work in creative, advertising, media, entertainment, events or a closely related industry is compulsory.
- Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow analysis and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software, plus analytical, leadership and communication ability.
