FTTX Planning & Rollout Manager via Groupe Aldelia – Ibadan, Oyo
An undisclosed telecommunications employer is seeking an FTTX Planning & Rollout Manager in Ibadan, Oyo State, through Groupe Aldelia Limited. The manager will direct fibre network design, GIS planning and deployment across the city.
Responsibilities
- Lead FTTX planning, network design and rollout programmes throughout Ibadan.
- Prepare GIS-based network designs, route maps and deployment plans.
- Develop scalable GPON and XGS-PON fibre architectures and outside-plant designs.
- Use geomarketing analysis to prioritise neighbourhoods and improve rollout investment decisions.
- Oversee civil construction partners, contractors and delivery milestones.
- Engage government offices, utilities and communities on deployment activities.
- Lead GIS analysts, survey teams and network planning personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Geoinformatics, Geography or a related field.
- At least six years’ experience planning and deploying FTTX networks.
- Proven ability to use ArcGIS, QGIS, GPON/XGS-PON design principles and outside-plant engineering.
- Strong project, contractor and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of Nigeria’s telecommunications environment and regulations is highly desirable.
