Generator Site Operator at Mikano International Limited – Ogba, Lagos
Mikano International Limited is hiring a Generator Site Operator in Ogba, Lagos. The full-time position covers generator operations, routine maintenance, troubleshooting and accurate operating records.
Responsibilities
- Operate, start, stop and monitor diesel or gas generators to maintain reliable power.
- Check fuel, oil, cooling systems and operating loads, preventing overloading.
- Perform scheduled inspections, basic servicing, oil and filter changes, and cleaning.
- Identify faults, troubleshoot operational issues and escalate major repairs to engineers.
- Record operating hours, fuel consumption, maintenance activity and system performance.
- Handle fuel storage and refuelling safely and respond promptly to outages.
- Maintain safety, company operating procedures and environmental compliance.
Requirements
- BSc, HND, OND or trade-test qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- At least two years’ experience in generator operations.
Pay and benefits
Net monthly salary of ₦172,000. Benefits include a ₦90,000 outstation allowance, leave allowance, HMO and pension.
