Head of Integration & APIs / Practice Lead at Heirs Technologies Limited – Lagos

Heirs Technologies Limited is recruiting a Head of Integration & APIs / Practice Lead in Lagos to set integration strategy and take overall accountability for complex, multi-team technology programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Define the Integration Practice strategy, delivery standards and long-term development roadmap.
• Coordinate delivery, architecture, platform engineering, DevOps, governance and service teams across multiple pods.
• Chair steering reviews, manage programme risks and act as the final escalation point for cross-team blockers.
• Work with the Architecture Review Board on reusable integration patterns, design governance and standards.
• Track programme milestones, quality gates and delivery health, implementing corrective measures where needed.
• Lead senior hiring decisions and build scalable, repeatable practice capabilities.
• Partner with commercial leadership on programme margins, client relationships and commercial outcomes.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of enterprise technology delivery experience, including five or more years leading integration, API or platform engineering practices.
• Demonstrated accountability for large, complex programmes spanning multiple delivery teams, including major commercial or P&L responsibilities.
• Credibility in delivery, architecture governance, engineering execution and commercial leadership.
• Strong strategic decision-making, executive stakeholder management and cross-pod escalation abilities.

Experience profile

Ten or more years leading multi-pod technology programmes is identified as a characteristic of a strong candidate.
