Head of Site at an Undisclosed Pharmaceutical Manufacturer – Sagamu
An undisclosed pharmaceutical manufacturer is recruiting a Head of Site in Sagamu, Ogun State, to direct site operations and translate group strategy into measurable manufacturing results.
Key responsibilities
- Direct production, engineering, quality, warehousing, supply chain and HSE teams against site priorities.
- Deliver output, yield, efficiency and capacity targets while reducing waste and bottlenecks.
- Maintain GMP compliance, audit preparedness and effective quality systems, including deviations and CAPA.
- Improve equipment availability, maintenance, utilities and asset management; support expansion and capital projects.
- Take responsibility for site profit and loss, operating budgets, cost control, inventory and working capital.
- Coordinate demand planning, procurement and production for reliable supply and inventory efficiency.
- Strengthen workplace safety, statutory compliance, management capability and succession planning.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Pharmacy or Engineering; an MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- At least 20 years’ manufacturing experience, including seven years in senior leadership.
- Experience overseeing multiple factories or large operations.
- Background in pharmaceuticals, FMCG or other regulated manufacturing is preferred.
- Demonstrated P&L ownership, stakeholder engagement and operational change leadership.
