Hotel Supervisor at IBS Hotel Nigeria Limited – Ibadan, Oyo

IBS Hotel Nigeria Limited is recruiting a Hotel Supervisor in Ibadan to coordinate hotel services, strengthen revenue performance and maintain effective operational and financial controls.

Hotel operations and guest service

• Oversee accommodation, food and bar, kitchen, laundry, marketing, accounts and stock-control activities.
• Organise work schedules, supervise staff performance, ensure rooms are prepared and resolve guest complaints promptly.
• Coordinate marketing of rooms, halls and other facilities, aiming for at least 70% daily room occupancy.
• Monitor guest-service standards, safety, security systems and statutory compliance.

Revenue, controls and reporting

• Review daily, weekly and monthly financial records, reconciliations, expenses and receipts across hotel units.
• Investigate potential revenue diversion, wastage and irregularities, reporting concerns to the Chairman or designated representative.
• Verify payments and transfers, monitor stores and reorder levels, and maintain the fixed-asset register.
• Track expenditure against approved budgets and document revenue, stock movement and operating costs.
• Send daily, weekly and monthly reports to Mr. Olatipe Fasuyi on occupancy, sales, staff, complaints and operational issues.

Requirements

• HND or bachelor’s degree with four years of experience.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, leadership and customer-service management.
• Ability to drive patronage, monitor revenue and stock, prevent financial losses and maintain accurate records.
• Integrity, accountability, sound judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
