A hotel in Akobo, Ibadan, is recruiting a full-time Hotel Supervisor through Maxglobal Multiconsult Limited to coordinate staff, guest services, property upkeep and daily hotel operations.

Job Description

• A well establsihed Hotel at Akobo, Ibadan is currently recruiting the role ofHotel Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations, supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of hotel staff across relevant departments.
• Keep guests receive excellent service and have a satisfactory experience.
• Track staff attendance, punctuality, appearance, and performance.
• Assign duties, prepare staff schedules, and ensure adequate staffing across shifts.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve service-related issues professionally.
• Keep guest rooms, reception areas, restrooms, and other facilities are clean and well maintained.
• Track compliance with hotel policies, hygiene standards, and health and safety procedures.
• Inspect hotel facilities and report maintenance issues for prompt attention.
• Track the availability of supplies and report shortages to management.
• Keep accurate records of daily activities, incidents, complaints, and staff performance.
• Report operational challenges and provide recommendations to management.
• Keep staff comply with company rules, professional conduct, and service standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND / NCE in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered.
• Previous experience in hotel operations, hospitality, or a supervisory role is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, team management, and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good customer service and complaint-resolution abilities.
• Ability to supervise multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
• Good problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain operational records and reports.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, housekeeping standards, hygiene, and workplace safety.
• High level of honesty, professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Salary

N60,000 – N70,000 per month.
