House Keeper job opportunity is available at Salient Humanitarian Organisation for individuals who possess SSCE / OND in any field

Responsibilities

• Within the scope of Salient Humanitarian Organisation’s Common Warehouse Storage project, funded by WFP, the House Keeper is responsible for the Good House Keeping (GHK) and other associated tasks during the implementation of this project at Bama in Borno State

Specifically:

• Clean and mob the warehouse, offices, rooms, restroom, warehouse compound etc
• Maintain the prescribed health and hygiene standard of the warehouses, rooms, offices, stocks, restrooms, work environment and total project operation environment.
• Ensure the project building and facilities are tidy and clean at all time
• Assist in warehouse repackaging, minor stock loading and unloading
• Ensure good stock arrangement
• Ensure clean light fixture to improve lighting efficiency
• Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal
• Monitors the operation of the project power generating set and other utility equipment and machines.
• Ensure perfect working condition of the tools and equipment used to execute the cleaning and maintenance job.
• Ensure the work space is not injury or accident -prone
• Report all repairs and other housekeeping operation needs as prompt as possible
• Replenish working tools as necessary
• And any other assigned duties by the Project Lead

Experience and qualifications

• SSCE / OND in any field
• Experience in working in complex and volatile contexts;
• Technical in Good House Keeping;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Ability to deliver high quality work within tight deadlines;
• Strong negotiation skills;
