Internal Control Officer at Taghini Foods Limited – Ibadan, Oyo State
Taghini Foods Limited is recruiting a full-time Internal Control Officer in Ibadan, Oyo State, to oversee inventory accuracy, farm records, transaction controls and compliance with operating procedures.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile front-end stock balances and physically verify supplies of consumables and perishable materials delivered to farm estates.
- Audit Product Transfer Notes (PTNs) against the corresponding Product Movement Forms (PMFs).
- Conduct monthly stock-taking exercises at farm estates and periodically verify tools, equipment and other assets.
- Reconcile farm stock and store items, and analyse daily farm reports to identify shortages and surpluses.
- Prepare Farm Material Usage Reports (FMUR) and maintain accurate, up-to-date farm records.
- Review compliance with management-approved procedures before, during and after transactions.
- Provide internal surveillance and contribute to special investigations when required.
- Support adherence to applicable accounting and auditing standards, internal policies and health and safety procedures.
- Work with management, field personnel and veterinarians to improve farm operations, bird welfare and business performance.
