Inventory Support Officer – POS Terminals at Moniepoint Incorporated – Rivers

Moniepoint Incorporated seeks an Inventory Support Officer – POS Terminals in Rivers State to maintain accurate custody and end-to-end tracking of POS devices moving through its repair centre. The position covers incoming faulty units, technician allocation, quality assurance and outbound dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Receive returned terminals from state offices, verify serial numbers against recall waybills and register devices in the inventory system within 24 hours.
• Quarantine damaged or unidentified terminals and report discrepancies promptly.
• Assign faulty units to technicians and monitor every repair stage, from assessment through QA clearance and dispatch holding.
• Enforce the specified 24–72-hour turnaround targets, register QA-approved units within four hours and document devices classified as beyond economic repair (BER).
• Prepare approved dispatch lists and waybills, scan each device at loading and close transactions after receipt acknowledgements.
• Carry out daily physical stock counts, reconcile devices with system records and escalate discrepancies on the same business day.
• Support periodic wall-to-wall counts and maintain segregated storage areas for faulty, under-repair, refurbished and scrap terminals.
• Comply with inventory-control procedures, workplace-safety standards and audit requirements.

Requirements

• OND in a relevant field and at least two years’ inventory-operations experience.
• Competence with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with inventory systems, tracking workflows and large-volume stock handling.
• Accuracy in recordkeeping, strong organisational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision.
