Inventory Support Officer – POS Terminals at Moniepoint Incorporated – Lagos

Moniepoint Incorporated is recruiting an Inventory Support Officer – POS Terminals in Lagos to control the movement of POS devices through the repair centre, ensuring accurate serial-level records, secure custody and reliable dispatch.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and reconcile faulty devices from state offices against recall waybills, recording each terminal within 24 hours of arrival.
• Quarantine damaged or unidentifiable units and issue discrepancy reports promptly.
• Assign devices to technicians daily and track assessment, repair, quality assurance and dispatch stages in the inventory management system.
• Maintain prescribed 24–72-hour processing targets and update QA-cleared units within four hours.
• Document failed QA outcomes and isolate devices classified as beyond economic repair.
• Prepare dispatch lists and waybills for managerial approval, scan outbound devices and obtain destination receipts.
• Perform daily stocktakes, investigate physical-to-system differences, assist periodic counts and maintain clearly labelled storage areas.
• Maintain inventory controls, audit documentation, workplace safety and appropriate environmental handling.

Qualifications and skills

• Minimum OND in a relevant discipline and at least two years’ experience in inventory operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and inventory or workflow systems.
• Experience handling high stock volumes and maintaining precise records.
• Strong organisation, communication, coordination and multitasking skills with minimal supervision.

Reporting

The role reports functionally to the Regional Lead, Inventory Support; operationally to the Repair Centre Manager; and through a dotted line to the Regional Inventory & Warehouse Manager.
