Junior Full-Stack Software Developer at Global Recruit Desk – Ikosi-Ketu, Lagos

Global Recruit Desk is recruiting two Junior Full-Stack Software Developers for its office on CMD Road, Ikosi-Ketu, Lagos. The full-time, strictly office-based positions involve maintaining active web platforms, fixing issues and delivering updates alongside another junior developer.

Responsibilities

• Monitor website uptime, performance and security and carry out routine platform maintenance.
• Identify and fix frontend faults, broken layouts and mobile responsiveness issues.
• Update plugins, clear database logs and improve loading performance under management direction.
• Build and refine business features, marketing tools and dashboard functions using stable, maintainable code.
• Collaborate with a fellow junior developer to plan solutions, review code and divide tasks.
• Test changes thoroughly in staging or another safe test environment before they are deployed.
• Push code changes to the company’s private GitHub repository daily before leaving the office at 5:00 PM.
• Maintain secure documentation of login credentials and technical configurations so company assets remain under its control.

Skills and Experience

• At least one year’s experience building web applications. Strong personal projects or a GitHub portfolio are valued.
• Practical HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript skills and familiarity with a frontend framework or template system such as React, Vue or Tailwind.
• Understanding of backend development with Node.js, PHP or Python and basic relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Ability to use Git and GitHub for routine version control.
• Willingness to learn, collaborate with colleagues and apply regular feedback.
• Graduates of technology bootcamps and self-taught junior developers are encouraged to apply.

Working Arrangements

• Strictly office-based in Ikosi-Ketu, Lagos, five working days each week.
• The employer is seeking candidates who can commute to the office without difficulty.
