Job Description

• Novice2star.com is a fast-growing music and entertainment website contributing to the colorful narrative of Afrobeats. We’re looking to hire an experienced Content Creator to join our brand new office in Port Harcourt City.
• The ideal candidate will have an innovative mindset for developing engaging entertainment related contents that will drive traffic to our platforms.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-

• Lead a group consisting of Bloggers, Video Editor and Video Journalists to create engaging contents.
• Create a structured content strategy to achieve company targets across the website, Facebook, YouTube Channel, and other platforms.
• Write and produce industry-related content for blogging on websites and YouTube.
• Develop and manage relationships with other content creators, influencers, and creative specialists across the industry.
• Meet with the creative team weekly to discuss priorities, findings, and strategies.
• Oversee all studio activities, such as the creation, development, and production of social, and digital contents.
• Manage the office finance and facilities.
• Carry out other duties as directed by Head of Content.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:-

• 1+ years blogging experience.
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO) experience desirable but not essential.
• A real passion for Nigerian music and entertainment.
• Creativity and the ability to develop original content that provokes engagement.
• Experience managing a small team.
