Maintenance Engineer at Amel International Services Limited – Lagos Mainland

Amel International Services Limited is recruiting a full-time Maintenance Engineer for its Engineering department on Lagos Mainland. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, the position supports reliable industrial food-processing equipment and utilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery and utilities.
• Investigate mechanical and electrical faults and restore equipment service with minimal downtime.
• Maintain milling, grinding, sieving, conveying, mixing and packaging machines.
• Support PLC, HMI, VFD, motor, control-panel and automation maintenance.
• Assist with machine fabrication, modifications, installation and commissioning.
• Conduct root-cause analysis, maintain engineering records and plan spare-parts requirements.
• Apply plant safety requirements during maintenance activities.

Requirements

• B.Sc., B.Eng. or HND in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline.
• Five to eight years’ relevant industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Practical knowledge of mechanical repair, electrical systems and industrial automation.
• Experience in FMCG or food-processing plants, particularly milling, sugar, salt or flour, is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with locally fabricated machinery is an advantage.
