Lead, Operations and Maintenance (Distribution) at Nigerian Electricity Supply Corporation (Nigeria) Limited – Bukuru
Nigerian Electricity Supply Corporation (Nigeria) Limited is recruiting a Lead for Operations and Maintenance (Distribution) at its head office in Bukuru, Plateau State. The role leads network operations and maintenance to provide reliable, cost-effective electricity distribution.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical distribution network operations, team performance and service reliability.
- Develop operations and maintenance strategies, programmes and technical standards.
- Coordinate network maintenance activities and department work plans against agreed milestones.
- Oversee safe technical field operations and comply with approved procedures.
- Guide distribution-related project work, testing and commissioning.
- Identify relevant developments in power distribution practice for potential local adoption.
- Oversee departmental quality-management and occupational health and safety responsibilities.
- Prepare regular reports for the Head of Distribution and undertake assigned departmental duties.
Requirements
- B.Eng. or HND in an engineering field, a COREN-accredited postgraduate diploma and a master’s degree in the same field.
- Relevant professional certification, such as COREN.
- Four to six years’ relevant experience, including at least three years in a supervisory role.
- Understanding of electricity regulation, operations and maintenance management, and substation planning and maintenance.
