Maintenance Technician – Pet Blower at an Undisclosed Manufacturing Company via Azuks Works Consult – Sango, Ogun
A growing manufacturing company is recruiting a full-time Maintenance Technician – PET Blower in Sango, Ogun State, through Azuks Works Consult to maintain packaging machinery and respond to plant breakdowns.
Responsibilities
- Complete planned preventive maintenance, condition checks, lubrication, adjustments and component replacements.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and basic automation faults affecting production equipment.
- Troubleshoot motors, controls, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, conveyors, sensors, actuators and related systems.
- Respond to failures promptly, investigate recurring breakdowns and support OEE, MTTR and MTBF improvements.
- Assist with new equipment installation, commissioning, plant modifications and maintenance shutdowns.
- Follow EHS and LOTO procedures, protect guards and interlocks, use PPE and report unsafe conditions.
- Maintain GMP, food-safety, hygiene and 5S controls while managing maintenance tools and spare parts.
- Record repairs, breakdown findings, parts used, preventive-maintenance activities and shift handovers in maintenance logs or CMMS/SAP.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality and Safety on root-cause analysis, Kaizen and equipment reliability.
Requirements
- HND or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or a relevant technical discipline.
- Two to five years of hands-on maintenance in FMCG, food, beverage, packaging or a comparable high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven industrial machinery troubleshooting and understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Knowledge of motors, mechanics, pneumatics, basic PLC diagnostics, RCA, LOTO, GMP, 5S and maintenance documentation.
- Experience with automated or high-speed equipment and additional technical or trade certification are advantages.
- Safety awareness, teamwork, accountability, problem-solving and willingness to work rotational shifts.
Salary
₦250,000–₦380,000 per month.
