Marine Operations Manager at an Undisclosed Marine Services Company via Myrtle Management Consultants – Victoria Island, Lagos
An indigenous oil and gas marine services company is hiring a Marine Operations Manager in Victoria Island, Lagos, through Myrtle Management Consultants.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate marine security operations, patrol boats, logistics and offshore security activities.
- Monitor patrol-vessel movement, fuel use, technical faults and communication equipment through the operations command centre.
- Ensure naval clearances and operating procedures are followed before vessel security duties.
- Maintain operations databases, reports, daily situation reports and shift handovers.
- Coordinate patrol-boat bunkering, pre-deployment briefings, post-deployment debriefings and emergency escalation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, Accounting, Business, Finance or Mathematics.
- At least five years’ relevant marine logistics or maritime security experience, including maritime domain awareness.
- Relevant experience in maritime intelligence, security coordination, operations centres and security cooperation.
- Strong Microsoft Office, charter-party, analytical, operational and organisational skills.
